I don’t really see the importance of printing books on
paper. I think that the knowledge inside of the book is more important than
what it’s printed on. For example if a book has a really cover and printed on
nice paper this has nothing to do with the fact of weather what is contained
inside is high quality information. With ebooks you don’t really get the feel
and look of a real book but I feel that the content is a lot more important
than the book its self. Also I don’t think that a lot of people buy books
anymore anyway so to me it would make more sense if instead of wasting a lot of
paper, and money in order to print books out. The publishing companies could
just invest in ebooks which people buy these days and they could save money
from all the books that don’t get bought. A time in which I would recommend buying
a book is if there a book you want to read very much and there is no ebook for
it. Instead of just wating for the ebook to come out you should just go out and
buy it and when the ebook comes out you can also get it digitally also.
That's a good point you made about it costing more to print a real book over a ebook. It helps out the price for us as the consumer as well.
ReplyDeleteI think the cover of the book does affect a lot of people's opinions when buying books. The physical feeling of a book plays a big role in getting people to read.
